Her appetite is crap, and we're working on that. I wish I knew how to get her to eat more. I've told her that it's my job to serve her healthy food, and it's her job to eat it...and she knows that...but she spends so much of her time either feeling crummy, or being afraid that she's going to feel badly, that she is afraid to eat. I understand, really I do...but she needs to grow and be healthy and strong.
On a side note...I called our homeowners insurance, and there is no increase in insurance if we get a trampoline...so I think we're going to do that this summer. It's fabulous for lung health, and Abby's psych also encouraged it for Abby's sensory integration issues.

Trampoline = YES YES YES.
You are a cool mom :D.
I have a mini-trampoline in my basement. Not as much fun as, oh, flipping upside down, but still fun and good for the lungs :).
ITA on the trampoline--you're going to be the girls' hero for getting one.
My girls love ours so much, we dismantled it and threw it in the moving truck before we left FL--according to them, getting to use it in the snow makes it even BETTER, lol
Per the digestive and leg pain & Kerri's link to potassium-rich foods over on her blog, will your daughter drink smoothies? My mother-in-law uses avocados (high in pot.) instead of bananas in hers, in order to get the "good" fats, and she's converted me, too. They're much richer and smoother than banana-based ones.
What a great idea, Amy. I'll have to try it. She used to eat sliced avocado, but she's so picky now.
Kerri...when we get one, and get it set up, you'll have to come try it...how far are you from Massachusetts?
